Notava Inc. (http://www.notava.com) together with notaworld.org introduced NoTA (Network on Terminal Architecture) concept at the 4th IEMF Next Generation Mobile Showcase in Tokyo, Japan between 16-17.4.2009 (http://iemf.jp/Event/4ngmt_e.html).
In addition to the keynote speech, two advanced NoTA device demos were presented at the notaworld.org -booth together with Sanyo Semiconductor (http://www.semic.sanyo.co.jp/index_e.htm), Taiyo Yuden (http://www.yuden.co.jp/us/index.html) and K3 (http://www.kthree.co.jp/5english/E_services.html).
The demos showed the power of NoTA in providing fast means to integrate new features into existing mobile platforms. Service based multi-input device architecture was demonstrated in conjunction with Symbian S60 based mobile phone. Ultra low power audio solution consisting of three sub-systems proved the benefits of interconnect centricity in terms of energy saving.
